rice dumplings (:
i made some rice dumplings with my mum tdy!

been bugging her for two years to make some alrdy.
but for some reason, she said she couldn't make it last yr so we had to wait till this yr!
this was attempt number 1.
mum said my ahma said the corners of a dumpling is very impt. but obviously i failed to make the corners nice and sharp.
my dad laughed like mad when he saw this.
and as laughter is contagious, i laughed like mad as i was tying it too.
so it really wasnt sposd to look this bad.
I INSIST.
but i improved after awhile!
okay, actually this was the only nice one i made the entire day.
whoa i enjoy making dumplings man.
but its really a long and tiring process.
my mum was saying, after her generation is all gone, no one from my generation will make dumplings anymore.
i beg to differ.
i'll make sure i learn it, make it right, and teach my future kids.
HAHAHAHA.
thn i'll tell them: "my ah ma says when you make dumplings, you must make sure you get nice corners. if not, she will scold you."
HAHA.
