but no, i'm still at home.

we all got into the car and we barely left yishun before the car broke down.

in fact, we barely even left the neighbourhood.. so we got stuck at the petrol kiosk for at least half an hour before my dad came to bring us back home.

so here i am now, waiting for my bro to get his gf's car back so we can all go to msia agn.

i'm not surprised if i can only leave singapore at 4am

yeah, wht a crazy family.

but its better to leave at 4am.

once the decision is made to go tmr morning instead, its as good as saying we're not going anymore. from another perspective, tht might be a better choice for me but nah, i shld go see my ah gong ah ma and celebrate their birthdays.

this day is a really long day.

it seemed eons ago that i was in the mangrove at pasir ris park, picking up nonsense washed in by the tide.

i must say it was pretty fun. but it was tiring.

at any one time, i think i'd still prefer tutoring primary school kids to picking up trash.

OH, WE FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES IN THE END.

but its okay, we've got another half a year worth of weekends to go.

by thn, we'll be sick of taking pictures too.

we picked up 108kg of trash in less than 2 hours and i think it was quite an accomplishment. one tht we're quite sure the nxt group cant match up to (: HAR HAR AZFARRRRT.

tdy, i met ruth and rachael!

tht meeting truly proved how singapore is seriously small.

we thought we were total strangers.

but ruth actually came over to my house before and even cooked and ate spaghetti with me (:

i even rmb her telling me about how her sis, rachael, cooked spaghetti for the family!

and thn when i introduced myself to rachael, she went "OH RUOEN!"

and i realised she, like many of my friends, was in the same band as my younger sis in ytss.

not only tht. her sposd "other half" happens to be one of my good friends in ajc!

how much smaller can the world get, you ask?

they live next block to me.

HAHAHA the world is indeed small.

okay, i guess i'll go and catch some sleep before embarking on my journey north.

i'm going to miss everybody tmr...
