back home!! (:
it's great to be home!
i'm so happy to be back in church, so happy to see everyone again..
hahah i think i nvr said so many "i missed you"s and hugging so many pple in one day.
from the moment that i knw tht i'm allowed to go to church, i was so happy!
and more than anything, it's like my life's moving on like how it should be.
at least now i can wake up knowing its sunday, not wednesday.
it's really amazing how we can have so many new exciting things in church in just the short 2 weeks though.
it's really alot man.
like we're now 950!!!!
and we've all got privilege cards tht looks so cool.
and i went into the al fresco and said "WHOA GOT NEW LIGHTS!"
and dawn went "whoa tht proves how long you hvnt been in church.."
haha goodness i just missed every single thing of church.
and honestly, it was nice knwing tht news of being dwn with chicken pox spreads faster and wider than the disease itself.
if there's something i want to thank God for,
i'll thank Him for all the great relationships i've made with wonderful Pastors, great leaders, funky peers and lovable people (:
and okay, i'll thank God for chicken pox too.
because i've learnt to appreciate everything very much more in the two weeks.
my life is great.
i dont ever want to exchange it for anyone else's life.
not yours. not his. not hers.

B & C Zone Camp!!
don't you think melvin's good-looking? (i bet he's got something to say about this)
i think the Bible in his hands are even better though

it's time for the great B & C ZONE CAMP (:
though i don't think i can make it, thanks to chicken pox, i still think the rest of the world should go for it.
and when they are back, they can all share with me what happened.
you can be part of them!
eeloo has alrdy promised to help me take alot of pictures.
so i've alrdy got a folder prepared to keep all those pictures (: hahaha

i really hate chicken pox.
i've never tried not being able to eat so many things in my life before.
no eggs
steamed eggs, fried eggs, half-boiled eggs, salted eggs, century eggs, crab's eggs, quail eggs, every kind of eggs you can think of.
including those you find in ben & jerry's ice cream.
no soya sauce
economic bee hoon, chicken rice without soya sauce, many dishes at the chap cai beng stall, chicken chop. and many more.
no soya beans
well i thought this was easy since i dont like soya beans anyway.
NAH
bet you didnt knw chewing gum and hershey's chocolate pie belong to this category
no fried food
fish and chips, chicken cutlet, seaweed chicken, McNuggets, McChicken, McWings, KFC.
mamamamamama.
no seafood
and there's a huge pack of crabs in my fridge waiting to be cooked yknw
not tht i like crabs
i just like the eggs inside the crab
but rmb? i cant eat eggs too
and no prawns that are found in my hor fun as well
oh this is interesting.
on day 1 of my chickie poxie days, my dad want to buy horfun for me.
just to play safe, he decided to order "horfun without eggs"
and the evil auntie laughed at him for making that order because she claims "HOR FUN NA LI YOU FANG JI DAN DE!"
and while she's writing down the order, she still continued to laugh at my father.
i pray for her salvation.
but really, my dad is amazing.
though i really live near the coffee shops and markets, my dad has been going dwn there to buy food for me like twice a day (because i dont wake up in time for breakfast)
and he does it without any sign of complaints.
this is how my dad loves me (:
i thank my Daddy for my daddy
i cant wait for chicken pox to be over
i cant wait to go back to church!!!!!

I MISS CHURCH ALOT ALOT ALOT!
i miss alot of pple!
i miss rinnah alot. everytime i see stickers, i think of rinnah (:
being hit with chicken and his friend pox isn't nice at all.
especially at a time like this.
everyone else just finished their major papers and here i am, stuck at home ):
like what darren says, this really made me understand how the army pple feel when they get confined in camp.
usually, in a service, you just sit in it and get so engrossed in the presence of God and in His Word that you forget all about time.
you just get so absorbed in His presense that before you know it, TADAA 2 hours is over.
but time doesn't pass as quickly at home.
at 1455 i thought service is starting soon!
at 1505 i thought first praise song!
at 1600 which felt like 2 hours (i really thought service was over until i saw the time) and i thought, the sermon probably just started?
at 1645 its still the Word! or maybe Altar Call?
well.. to cut the long story short, that 2 hours was really long long long at home.
thn pple started to tell me abt how great last week's services were.
WHY CHICKEN POX NOW???!
thn agn, which ever week my chicken pox may have came, i'll be missing great services.
i wish i had chicken pox before i was saved...
and i also heard from gabrielle tht an angel came visiting our church during service last saturday.
i can't believe i'm missing so much because of chicken pox.
but perhaps this is a blessing in disguise?
afterall, Pastors always said "absence makes the heart grow fonder"
it is true!
i really really miss church and everyone now...
to the point that i even dream about church at night.
i would dream (as in, in my sleep) about me going to church despite my chicken pox.
and in the dream i would actually feel happy yet bad for going to church with chicken pox.
and my first thought when i wake up in the morning would be "i cant believe i went to church with chicken pox"
until reality hit me again and i realised i really really didn't go to church :(
but you know what, the church i saw in my dream was a really cool place (:
perhaps a vision of the future!
i saw really professional hair stylists and make-up artists in a super cool artiste room.
i dont knw how to describe, it's just cool.
but i knw how to describe the size of the church (:
the al fresco is so huge a street soccer court was actually built there! complete with those spotlights you'll see at street soccer courts and basketball courts.
and it was really amazing cos in my dreams, every weekend there will be ALOT of people playing after service, hanging out, having fun.
haha and no, i haven't been rotting my life away while waiting for the chicken pox to heal.
i've been watching heroes.
i've been studying.
i've been reading the Bible (until 430am last night! WOOHOOOO)
i've been listening to online sermons.
i've been making everyone register FOR BC ZONE CAMP!!!!

and i'll probably spend the rest of this holiday doing the above.
it's gna be a fruitful break (:
