this is a really fun week!
ytd we had a powerful session with C3!!!
C3!!!!
the band came and showed us many stuff and it was seriously a great session.
what did we learn?
its something beyond words can describe, you just have to be there to experience it.
in fact, we probably wont be doing God's presence justice if we can explain it so simply.
tonight, we are also having with a powerful session with c3!
but its not the band, its my wonderful cg!
there's a total of 9 noisy girls here (and 1 quiet and hardworking yassy)
and we're all going crazy on guitar hero world tour!
it's like wooohooo very fun!
AND ESTHER IS CRAZY.
SHE'S SO GOOD ON THE DRUMS.
i also went out with deco to buy new stuff for the ministry but the exciting things we found were the little shops behind arab street!
its cool!
i found 2 pairs of shoes that i completely fell in love with but currently have no kaching to buy them.
but well, I ORDERED 2 THREADLESS SHIRTS and im really happy.
man, im so addicted to shopping.
2 days of elearning and well, i must say im really happy that i dont have to be in school.
BUT THERE'S REALLY SO MUCH WORK TO DO MAN.
goodness.
i hope they dont remove the material.
im so not done with it.
okayyyyy im gna rock on guitar heroes now.

well, on the contrary my birthday had been really enjoyable!
firstly, I LOVE MY CG!
they were so sweet :D
every single one of them wore an astroboy tht says "happy birthday ruoen" on their shirt!
and they all wore it the entire day even though i was on hospi and could only see all of them for like 5 minutes.
(oh but i did see it more than 5 minutes because careless jo came upstairs wearing it before i was sposd to see it.. HAHA)

yknw, my mum always say tht we kids shld thank her and give her a present on our birthdays.
because without her, we wouldn't even be alive.
and we got to thank her for the pain she suffered when she was carrying us.
well, thanks mum!
but thanking mum, it will only make more sense to thank God!
without God, mum cant even give birth to me even if she wanted to.
haha and without Jesus dying for me, i wonder if humanity will even survive long enough for me to come on earth.
or rather, i shld say without God creating men, i wouldnt even exist.
thank God for this wonderful creation (Haha) and redemption!
had a really powerful weekend of AI conference!
just really learned alot and reflected on my life, on my spending habits.
watching the videos, i just felt very moved.
i was moved to tears and i was really sure it was not just emotions.
on the way home, the old old song 'reflector' kept playing in my head.
and im sure its no coindence!
i believe Jesus is reminding me abt us letting His light shine through us, letting the whole world know about Him, having us to influence the world!
so i really want to give.
and thts really my birthday wish this year.
growth and give.
i wna keep growing in Christ and to become a big generous giver to God.
this yr, i wna give generously to God.
gna watch my spending, plan budgets so i can give more.
its so easy for us to give our time and energy to God.
i mean, especially in hogc, it's so fun to serve God in church!
but giving our finances to God is a whole complete different level.
sometimes it even means tht we just got to control and live without what others our age have.
they can be watching movie and drinking starbucks every other day.
they can be eating fastfood everyday (not tht i really like fastfood).
they can do many things i cannot.
but i truly dont mind :D
and like what pastor said, if we cant give our little today, we cant give much when we hve millions and billions of dollars.
if jack and cheryl can give, why not i?
if garrett can give, why not i?
if pastors can give, why not i?
if Jesus can give His life for me, why not i give my money to Him?
Jesus wants us to be a vessel of His blessings.
if He knows He can get blessings through us, He will give blessings to us.
living on that promise, i want to give generously :D
i cant see myself enjoying in a jason mraz concert knowing tht with tht amount of money for a mere 2-3 hours of entertainment, i could actually support a child for a month or more.
this last yr as a teen, im going to enjoy myself, enjoy student fares, student privileges but more than anything, im going to mature in Christ and be a great giver to God's kingdom (:
